Hey! I’m Jimmylee. I’m a Senior Motion Graphics Designer, and Creative Director who loves visual storytelling.

I’ve created hundreds of videos for some of the largest businesses in the world as well as small startups, YouTube channels, and social media influencers. My focus has always been on context, emotions, and personal connections through video.

Context is knowing where your content will be seen and who will be watching it. A viewer on Facebook will have a different expectation than a viewer on Instagram or Youtube. Speaking authentically to the viewer and know the platform is numero uno! (forgive my Spanish)

Emotion“al” storytelling isn’t simply putting sad music over video clips of sheltered animals. (I’m talking to you Sarah McLachlan) Emotional storytelling is expressing your passion, your love, and your excitement. Talking to the viewer as you would a friend, or family member. Never talking at them, and never treating them like “just another customer”.

Personal Connection is the reason we all do what we do. It doesn’t matter if it’s helping a young couple find their first home, helping science progress forward, or simply helping dad find a sweet new outfit. True passion is shared through personal connections.
